I even blog on Thanksgiving! Gobble Gobble. I feel like rambling off a straight up list of what I’m thankful for this year, 1st grade style. Let’s roll.
I am thankful for my family, and the way they embrace my crazy endeavors.
I am thankful for my friends, both new and old.
I am incredibly thankful for my job, the cool places it sends me and the wonderful people I work with.
I’m thankful for CrossFit & Paleo, the accomplishments and friends that have come with it in just the past few months.
I am thankful for the ability to spend today with a pile of food surrounded by people who care about me.
Enough of the warm & fuzzies. What about the shallower things in life?
I am thankful for the nap I just took. #Zzzzzz.
I am thankful for Google always being in my pocket, so I can always find answers to my stupid questions on the spot.
I am thankful that when I dropped my iPad on a tile floor this fall, the screen cracked but the iPad itself still works. That could have been expensive.
I am thankful that I made it to the airport in the snow at 3:30a safely last week.
I am thankful for Instagram, which helps me take pretty photos for you.
I am thankful my Gold Medallion status on Delta doesn’t run out until AFTER the 2013 Daytona 500.
I am thankful that I’m done traveling for a bit. I won’t miss the portajons in the tv compound and the constant endeavor to find porcelain at every track.
That said, I’m thankful for my NASCAR & NHRA hard cards. They let me go cool places. Like Brad Keselowski’s car.
Lastly, I am thankful for anyone who’s gotten far enough down in this post to read this. Hopefully you’ll keep reading as I keep blogging. Love you to pieces. Reese’s pieces. They’re delicious and faileo.
Take a moment to reflect – what do you have to be thankful for this year? I feel like my list could go on and on. I’m thankful for that too.
