The blog’s been getting no love this week. My couch has. You win some, you lose some. They don’t call my couch model the ‘Comfy’ for nothing. I like sleeping. Kitchen time? YES.
I did Saturday bass ackwards today. I went OUT for beer & wings for lunch, and stayed IN and cooked my dinner. You know what else is bass ackwards? People who complain about having to park so far away when they go to the gym (isn’t the point of going to the gym to be active?), and anyone who leaves their car unattended with the keys in it for 15+ minutes while they’re in the grocery store. Oh wait, that’s not backwards, that’s just a poor life decision I witnessed a couple hours ago.
Did you know that 8pm on Saturday is a really nice and calm time to grab those extra few items on your shopping list? Everyone else was buying ice cream and renting RedBox movies. I bought spinach, eggs, meat and an onion. So maybe I’m the bass ackwards one.
I am REALLY rambling right now. Blame the 2 (soon to be 3) Blue Moons that are assisting me in writing this post for you.
As you all know, I am in love with PaleOMG recipes. Tonight, I failed it up a bit. Not ‘fail’ as in… oh no I set the smoke alarm off again. ‘Fail’ as in… YOU KNOW WHAT? This recipe could use some extra sharp cheddar. I could really use a potato roll to help me eat this. So you know what? Initially paleo recipe gone faileo it is. It was delicious.

I didn’t have any fresh garlic on hand (used it all for Monday’s recipe), but aside from that I followed the recipe fairly closely, with the addition of a handful of shredded sharp cheddar tossed into the mixture for kicks.
Feast your eyes on what I feasted on. It. Was. Delicious. I definitely plan on making this recipe again.
