My name is Katy and there are two things that I’ve always loved… Staying active and eating. A lot. Needless to say, my nonstop pursuit of anything delicious in sight has always tempered whatever efforts I’ve made in the gym.

How did I get into CrossFit?
After 6-months of boot camp style training and realizing I was in fangirl mode after watching the CrossFit games, I was hooked. I couldn’t hold out anymore. Even though I’ve been an athlete for as long as I can remember, I was still intimidated by CF. I got over it, and began legit CrossFit in August 2012.
What about Paleo?
I overdosed on mini hors d’oeuvres one too many times. Decided maybe it’s time to address my less than stellar eating habits and see if they were holding me back from setting new PR’s in the gym.
I must also credit my participation in the 2012 Lurong Living Paleo Challenge for getting me into (somewhat) constructively instagramming, tweeting and vlogging. After two months, I realized that I didn’t want to stop yammering on about WODs and food. So, here you go. A blog.
