Lemon Pepper Chicken Burgers

Anyone know that moment when you threaten to break up with a significant other, then suddenly they’re on their best behavior so you don’t kick them to the curb? Or the moment when you go to pass someone on the highway who’s been going 52 in a 65, then suddenly they speed up to 70 once you decide to make your move? Frustration.

My iPhone has officially had that moment. I started googling DSLR cameras. Decided iPhone photos weren’t cutting it for the blog anymore, and perhaps I should invest in a camera that isn’t attached to a phone. Then it took these pretty pictures. Go figure.

Lemon Pepper Chicken Burgers

– 1lb Ground Chicken
– 2-3 Diced Scallions
– Lemon Garlic Flavor God Seasoning (I used 1 tsp)
– 1 tsp Minced Garlic
– Fresh Squeezed Juice from 1/2 a Lemon
– Salt & Cracked Black Pepper to taste

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION TIME! To keep it strict paleo, omit this part. To live on the edge, add in some of my favorite, Kerrygold Dubliner. The amount is at your discretion. In the first batch of these, I shredded it very finely, and the sharpness of the flavor got lost in the lemon. To get the bite, I’ll be chopping it into small cubes next time!

1) Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix together by hand, careful not to overmix (per usual).

2) Grill.

It’s not that complicated. Ain’t nobody got time for complicated!

For real. I worked 84+ hours last week.
